About the Role BDO’s Business Services division partners with clients to drive their success by delivering world‑class advisory and compliance services. We work with emerging businesses, fast‑growing corporate groups, and high‑income / high‑net‑worth individuals and family groups across a wide range of industries. Our team provides comprehensive support including: Growth advisory Strategic planning Business mentoring Due diligence and transaction services Accounting and business advice Financial modelling Business finance applications Tax planning and structuring Tax compliance and advice (including GST) Selection and implementation of business information systems Key Responsibilities We are seeking experienced Senior Accountants to join our expanding Business Services teams. In this role, you’ll deliver high‑quality, value‑adding work while further developing your technical and advisory skills alongside a high‑performing team. You will: Prepare financial statements in line with regulatory, accounting, and financial reporting standards across diverse industries Prepare income tax returns for companies, trusts, and high‑net‑worth individuals Undertake tax planning activities and assist with advice relating to business operations and regulatory obligations Provide business and tax advisory services, including structuring, performance improvement and growth strategies Liaise with clients, managers, and partners to resolve queries and build strong relationships Mentor and support junior team members in their development Skills/Attributes Required Experience in a professional services environment with a strong interest in tax and advisory Excellent relationship‑building skills; you'll work closely with colleagues across the wider Business Services team and deliver outstanding service to clients Demonstrated analytical and problem‑solving capability High attention to detail and a proactive approach to your work Progress towards, or completion of, CA or CPA qualifications Experience with APS and/or Xero (desirable) Why BDO?
