Quality Control Technician BJP Laboratories — Gold Coast, QLD TGA-licensed, cGMP-certified Contract Manufacturing Organisation (CMO) About the Role We are seeking a motivated Quality Control (QC) Technician to join our team. In this role you will test raw materials and finished products to ensure they meet industry, regulatory and internal quality standards. You will perform wet chemistry analyses and operate analytical instruments to generate accurate, reliable results that support product release. Key Responsibilities Perform wet chemistry tests (e.g., identification, assay by titration, loss on drying) in accordance with BP, USP and in‑house methods. Operate and maintain analytical instruments such as FTIR, UV‑Vis and HPLC to deliver accurate QC data. Apply Good Documentation Practice (GDP) and data integrity principles in all activities. Collaborate with cross‑functional teams and support associated QC activities as required. Contribute to continuous improvement by implementing changes to methods and processes to improve efficiency. Qualifications & Experience Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Pharmaceutical Science or a related field. Hands‑on experience in a GMP/GLP laboratory environment (essential). Familiarity with FDA, TGA and APVMA regulations (advantageous). Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills; able to work both independently and as part of a team. Excellent written and verbal communication skills with high attention to detail in a fast‑paced environment. Opportunities to learn and develop further skills on techniques such as ICP and GC.
