Position Overview: As a Purchasing Officer, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring seamless procurement processes, and acting as the custodian of key business practices. This multifaceted role spans across diverse business channels, requiring effective collaboration, reporting, and improvement of essential systems. Reporting to the National Business Manager, you will be instrumental in driving efficiency within our organisation. Key Responsibilities: Oversee and manage all purchasing and procurement activities, ensuring optimal inventory and stock control. Provide detailed reporting on spending, revenue tracking, inventory levels, and compliance audits. Maintain, review, and continually improve adherence to quality, environmental, health, and safety standards. Assist the Maintenance Manager in controlling purchasing strategies and cost management. Support the administrative systems for national operations and provide high-quality service to internal customers. Implement and report on business improvement strategies and process enhancements. Ensure compliance with organizational policies, procedures, and systems. What We’re Looking For: Experience & Skills: Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
