What you will do as the Assitant Director, Recruitment, Capability and Planning Develop and deliver the functions that identify, acquire and develop the capabilities the AER requires. Review and enhance standard configuration for recruitment, training and organisation management modules in the AER’s enterprise resource planning system (TechOne). Provide strategic advice, high quality workforce reporting and strategic workforce planning support to the CEO, Senior Leadership Team, and other key stakeholders. Collaborate with key AER stakeholders to develop, deliver, evaluate and improve regular plans to recruit and develop the capabilities the AER requires to deliver its strategic plan. Develop and implement work plans for people in the Recruitment, Capability and Planning team that directs the work area, defines expected outcomes, articulates the purpose and importance of the work. About you In order to succeed in the role, you will have: Demonstrated experience leading a team or similar role in a fast-paced and large complex people-centred organisation. Demonstrated expert understanding and application of relevant HR frameworks and related legislation (Acts, strategies, policies, guidance, systems and practices). A demonstrated ability to effectively lead and build capability in others by modelling positive behaviours, providing a professional and harmonious working environment, coaching, providing performance feedback, resolving conflict and facilitating career development. A demonstrated ability to effectively engage with stakeholders and manage complex projects with organisation wide implications. A demonstrated ability to effectively deliver large scale change initiatives. Relevant tertiary qualifications, AHRI accreditation and/or equivalent relevant experience is desirable.
