About The Role The Program Lead, Talent Management utilises their advanced knowledge of contemporary HR practices to lead and implement system wide leadership talent development strategies and initiatives. The role provides high level advice regarding talent development practices, policies and processes and leads transformation in talent practices to drive cultural change around succession planning through review, analysis and enhancement of existing frameworks. The Lead, Talent Management provides subject matter expertise for leadership talent development programs and strategic initiatives, focussing on implementing best practice methodologies and establishing evaluation frameworks to measure program effectiveness. As a key contributor to the Department's leadership development strategies, this position is responsible for developing and continuously improving responsive programs that maintain a pool of job-ready leaders for both site leadership and executive positions, ensuring these programs meet the evolving needs of the public education system. Qualifications Essential: Nil Desirable: A tertiary qualification in Human Resources or relevant equivalent experience. Special conditions The successful applicant is required to gain a Department for Human Services (DHS) working with children check (WWCC) prior to being employed which is required to be renewed every five years before expiry. The incumbent will be required to undertake RRHAN –EC (Responding to Risks of Harm, Abuse and Neglect - Education Care) Facilitator Lead (Masterclass) extended course or the online (Fundamentals) course which will be required to be updated every three years. For all other Special Conditions please refer to the attached Position Description. Remuneration ASO8 $121,107 - 125,679 per annum (1.0 FTE) superannuation (12%) and leave loading.
