The Client Our client specializes in major mechanical, fabrication and vehicle body repair, overhauls, rebuilds and major accessory fit outs of trucks mainly used in the mining industry that include Explosive Trucks, Tipper Trucks and Water Carts. Our client has recently been awarded several ongoing contracts and are seeking to expand their Bibra Lake workshop team of Tradesmen where they are seeking experienced Vehicle Body Builders to join their team. Working Hours & Location Location: Bibra Lake Working Days: Monday to Friday Standard Working Hours : 7:00 AM to 4:30 PM The Work You will be conducting a wide variety of work that ranges across the following truck types; Trucks - New & Used Accessory Fit Out – Bull Bars, Steps, Trays, Lights & Exhausts Major Plant Fit Out – Explosive Plant, Tippers & Tanks, The majority of the work will be fitting pre-fabricated components across small accessories and major plant such as; Bull Bars Trays Steps Electronic Components – Radios, Lights, GPPS, Plant Control's, Tray Mounted Hydraulics Levers Exhaust Systems Haulage Tippers Explosive Plant Tanks Hose Reels Control Panels The work will be varied and working across several major disciplines that will include; Interpret Plans, Diagrams or Shop Drawings Body Building – Sheet Metal & Panels (Mainly Pre-fabricated with occasional modification) Fabrication – MIG Solid Wire – Brackets through to Panel Work Mechanical Work – Such as relocating Exhaust System to opposite side Chassis Work – Re Skinning outer chassis frames Accessory Fitting The Candidate We are seeking a qualified Tradesmen that has at least 1 year post trade experience with a qualification such as; Vehicle Body Builder LV Mechanic Vehicle Accessory Fitter Coach Builder Sheet Metal – Must Have Vehicle Body Building Experience Boiler Maker Welder - Must Have Vehicle Body Building Experience High on our list are skilled tradesmen that consider themselves above average in their trade skills, work planning and quality where they to possess; Attention to Detail Be able to plan work to increase efficiency Maintain a good level of Productivity without compromising Quality of Work Your attitude and work ethic will be a focus where we are seeking candidates that possess the following; Have a positive attitude possessing initiative, intelligence and good organisational skills Conducts themselves in a highly professional manner at all times in a workshop environment Be reliable, punctual and have a great work ethic Be physically fit with the ability to undertake physically demanding tasks Be safety conscious Take pride in your work Have contactable references Be a permanent resident with full working rights Possess a Current Drivers License and reliable Vehicle Be able to pass a Medical and D&A Screen Remuneration Depending on your experience and skills the pay rates will be between; $40.00 to $50.00 Per hour (Flat) Super Paid Weekly How to Apply Please apply via Seek.
