Position Overview This is a dual-focus senior leadership role responsible for: Service Delivery & Operational Oversight Business Development & Participant Growth As the link between frontline service and strategic growth, you’ll be pivotal in aligning client outcomes, team performance, compliance, and referral development. This role balances structure and heart — with a focus on quality, consistency, and sustainable expansion. You will report directly to: Director – leading on service quality, outcomes, and team leadership CFO – focusing on operational efficiency, cost control, and scalability Key Responsibilities 1. Service Delivery & Operations Lead daily operations across SIL and community programs Monitor support delivery, staff deployment, and roster coverage Escalate and manage service-related issues or risks Conduct site visits to ensure consistent quality of care Clarify and align responsibilities between Case Managers, Coordinators, and Support Workers 2. Quality, Compliance & Risk Ensure adherence to NDIS Practice Standards and internal policies Review documentation, medication logs, incident reports, and support plans Lead incident management and implement corrective actions Maintain audit readiness and risk mitigation protocols 3. People Leadership Manage and support a multidisciplinary team (Case Managers, Team Leaders, Support Workers) Promote a high-performance culture rooted in empathy, safety, and accountability Conduct performance reviews and guide professional development 4. Business Development Oversight Lead and performance-manage the BDM function Set weekly referral and conversion targets Maintain referral pipelines and intake reports Build and maintain strategic relationships with Support Coordinators, Plan Managers, LACs, hospitals, and referral networks Ensure smooth handover from intake to service delivery 5. Performance Reporting & KPIs Track and report on: Roster utilisation and attendance Documentation quality and compliance Incidents and response time Participant occupancy and satisfaction Referral volumes and conversion rates Deliver clear updates to Director and CFO on service health and operational risks 6. Stakeholder Engagement Liaise with participants, families, and key community stakeholders Act promptly and professionally on feedback Integrate the voice of the participant in planning and improvements About You Required: 5 years of leadership experience in disability/NDIS services (SIL experience preferred) Deep understanding of NDIS Practice Standards and audit frameworks Proven team management and mentoring capabilities Experience overseeing referral or intake growth initiatives Strong written and verbal communication Valid NDIS, WWCC, and QLD Driver Licence Highly Regarded: Experience growing an NDIS organisation through operational and service scaling Existing network across the disability, allied health, and hospital sectors Demonstrated success in improving referrals, participant intake, and occupancy What Success Looks Like (First 3–6 Months) Daily operations run smoothly with team clarity and aligned roles Quality standards and audit readiness maintained across sites Participant growth trends upward through BDM alignment Weekly updates delivered consistently to senior leadership Mecura culture remains strong through growth and change Job Type: Full-time Pay: $90,000.00 – $100,000.00 per year Work Location: In person
