South Australian Metropolitan Fire Service Job reference: 835688 Location: 5000 - ADELAIDE Job status: Ongoing Eligibility: Open to Everyone Primary Purpose: The Manager – Fixed Assets and Infrastructure is responsible for leading strategic planning, governance, and delivery of MFS’s asset and capital programs. Reporting to the Assistant Chief Fire Officer – Infrastructure and Logistics, the position ensures the effective development, implementation, and reporting of the MFS Strategic Asset Management Framework, capital investment pipeline, and fixed asset replacement programs. As the Manager – Fixed Assets and Infrastructure, you will: Actively participate in the development of the MFS Strategic Plan, Asset Management Plan, Annual and Quarterly reports and other plans as required. Oversee the development and delivery of accurate, timely reporting and analytics to support evidence-based decisions. Translate complex data into actionable insights aligned with strategic priorities. Ensure robust governance, financial management, quality assurance, and compliance frameworks are embedded across area of responsibility. Monitor performance and risk to uphold standards and meet regulatory obligations. Establish and identify long-term strategic infrastructure priorities for the MFS, including forward planning and resource placement initiatives to support organisational objectives. Essential Qualifications: Tertiary qualifications in Project Management, Asset Management, Business, Architecture, or other relevant disciplines.
