Metro Gates & Balustrades, a growing fabrication and installation business in Western Australia, is seeking an experienced Aluminium Fabricator to join our production team in Canning Vale. This is a full-time position supporting the fabrication and welding of Aluminium balustrades, gates and structural components for residential and commercial projects. Key Responsibilities Fabricate Aluminium components and structural assemblies in accordance with technical drawings Cut, bend, shape and form Aluminium sections and sheets Perform MIG/TIG Aluminium welding, including seam welding to required industry standards Assemble and weld fabricated components into finished structures Set up, adjust and maintain welding equipment for various fabrication tasks Inspect completed welds and assemblies to ensure quality and compliance Maintain a safe and clean workshop environment Essential Requirements Relevant trade qualification in Metal Fabrication or Engineering Fabrication (Certificate III or equivalent) Minimum 2 years’ full-time relevant industry experience in Aluminium fabrication and welding Strong experience in MIG/TIG Aluminium welding Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship Ability to work full-time and commence employment in the near term What We Offer Competitive salary based on skills and experience Stable full-time employment Supportive and professional workshop environment Opportunity to grow with an expanding business
