Job Info Location: SUBIACO, WA Salary: Award Job Type: Permanent position | Full time position Job Description Full-time Café Manager Sorganic café and bakery is located on Rokeby Road right at the heart of Subiaco WA. Our eatery specialises in the preparation and serving to our customers a big range menu which include organic food, fresh bread, and high-quality coffee. We are currently seeking a permanent full-time Café Manager to oversee and manage the daily operations of our café. The duties to be carried out include: Manage and oversee the daily operations of the café, including front-of-house and back-of-house activities Perform frequent checks to ensure consistent high quality of food preparation and service are provided to the café’s customers by the cafe’s employees Address customer complaints and resolve issues promptly and professionally Ensure the café and its employees are compliance with food safety regulations, workplace health and safety laws, and local licensing requirements at all times Direct hiring and firing, and training of the café’s employees, including determining the wages for the employees, roster schedule and supervise employees Participate in planning menus and special dishes with chefs and owners Regularly evaluate to estimate and update food and beverage prices Oversee and maintain records of stock levels and inventory for the café Order supplies, and regularly liaise to maintain sound business relationship with local and sustainable vendors Track sales, labour, and food cost metrics; contribute to budgeting and financial goals Manage and oversee the café’s daily financial transactions Plan and implement marketing efforts, including social media content ideas, local outreach, and in-store promotions Maintain accurate records including budgets, sales reports, and employee performance and provide these reports to the business’ owners Requirements: Proven relevant employment experience as a café manager in a similar busy environment (minimum 12 months) Must possess at least the equivalent of an Australian Diploma in Business, or Management or similar The successful candidate is expected to be familiar with Australian/Vietnamese fusion cuisine Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple tasks simultaneously A positive attitude and a passion for local community engagement Possess excellent customer service and communication skills Proficiency with managing inventory, scheduling, POS systems and Microsoft Office (Excel, Word) Knowledge of sound marketing initiatives especially social media communication (Facebook, Tiktok, Instagram) Knowledge of food safety and hygiene regulations and practices Solid understanding of business and financial management Flexible availability, including weekends and holidays Job Types: Full-time, Permanent Reports To: Owner Pay: $77,000.00 –$80,000.00 per annum Benefits: Free drinks and food during shift Employee discount
