The Resource Officer provides support to clients, staff and stakeholders managing incoming enquires through all avenues including phone, face to face, email and other referral pathways. The Resource Officer assists the Connect Wanju team with administrative tasks including maintaining client records. Connect Wanju is in partnership with the Department of Justice delivers the General Court Intervention Program (GCIP) to improve access to treatment and support services for accused persons within the Court system. This role is classified at Level 3 the Social, Community, Home Care and Disability Services Industry Award 2010. This role requires confidence, compassion, and a steady presence. Working alongside vulnerable individuals means facing complex situations, high emotions, and occasional setbacks. The ideal candidate will meet the following selection criteria: Experience in a similar role. Exceptional interpersonal skills and ability to present a warm and welcoming nature. Demonstrated experience and a high level of competency in Microsoft Office. Sound understanding of IT-based workplace technology.
