Job: - Senior Test Automation Engineer- (NV1 Clearance Required)Duration: - ASAP - 30 June 2027 (Possible Extension 1 × 12 months)Location: - Canberra, ACT (Onsite)Estimated Start Date: - Tuesday, 31 March 2026Experience level: - Senior - EL1 equivalentWe are looking for an experienced Senior Test Automation Engineer for a long-term contract with one of our Federal Government Clients with strong experience in Selenium, .Net Framework and Azure DevOps.Required SkillsDemonstrated experience, knowledge and skills in .Net Framework and Azure DevOps.Demonstrated experience in building and implementing CI/CD pipelines.Demonstrated experience in test processes, including preparation, execution, and reporting.Experience working within a team of Automation Specialists.Experience in supporting the development and implementation of ICT Projects within a remote team environmentExperience in managing multiple, concurrent activities, while understanding and managing priorities, dependencies, and risks.Ability to work effectively with multiple development teams to perform automation testing by managing changing priorities and delivery deadlines.Ability to engage and collaborate internally with IT areas, project teams, and business areas.Ability to independently develop and determine approaches to testing in a practical and creative manner.Strong conceptual, analytical, and interpretive skills with high level of attention to details.Excellent communication skills to be part of a positive team culture.Desirable SkillsDemonstrated experience with one or more of the automation test tools Selenium, Postman and Swagger.Experience with C#, MS SQL, RestSharp, JavaScript.Experience of working in an Agile environment.ResponsibilitiesPerform testing for the systems/applications under sustainment/BAU.Implement and manage the development of automated test playbooks, test scenarios and/or test scripts for systems/applications when changes/upgrades are made to them.Engage and work closely with multiple agile delivery teams to understand the scope of changes/releases and estimate the testing efforts.Undertake automation testing activities including functional, integration and regression testing for each Program Increment (PI).Report and track the resolution of issues as they are found in automated testing.Assist with issue triaging, followed by retesting of the fixes.Develop reporting dashboards to demonstrate the outcomes of the automated testing.Create Test Summary Report (TSR) upon completion of testing.Visa Status and Security ClearanceCandidates must be an Australian Citizen.
