About the Role The Forensic Services team at BDO Brisbane is part of our Advisory practice. The team delivers specialized forensic accounting and expert advisory solutions to clients across Government, Private, and Not-for-Profit sectors. We assist with a wide range of complex matters, including disputes, litigation, investigations, and regulatory challenges including: Forensic accounting and investigations Preparation and review of expert reports Economic loss analysis and valuation support Litigation support and consulting engagements Independent expert advisory services Assistance with dispute resolution, regulatory, and legal proceedings Team capability uplift and mentoring Current Opportunity We are looking for a Senior Manager to join the Forensic Services team in Brisbane. You will lead forensic accounting engagements, support litigation matters, and contribute to building team capability in a permanent role with flexible work arrangements. Key Responsibilities Lead and deliver forensic accounting engagements, including economic loss analysis, valuations, and expert advisory support Prepare, review, and contribute to expert reports for litigation and dispute resolution Support legal proceedings by preparing financial analyses for regulators and external stakeholders Provide technical oversight and guidance on forensic accounting methodologies Lead and support engagement teams, ensuring high-quality delivery within scope and timelines Coach, mentor, and share knowledge to uplift forensic capability within the team Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external parties, such as legal teams and clients Contribute to the growth of the Forensics practice through consulting engagements and advisory work Support senior leaders with business development, scoping, proposal development, and client discussions About you Demonstrated expertise in forensic accounting, ideally gained through experience in consulting, advisory, or professional services roles Involvement in the preparation and/or review of expert reports Experience in economic loss analysis and valuation-related work Ability to prepare financial analyses for litigation or dispute matters Technical capability to provide guidance and uplift team skills Excellent written and verbal communication skills, especially for expert reports and advisory deliverables Relevant tertiary qualifications in accounting or related field; professional certifications will be highly regarded Why BDO?
