Your new opportunity Queensland Treasury's Office of Social Impact (OSI) is at the forefront of delivering the Queensland Government's social impact agenda. We are implementing the Social Enterprise and Impact Investing Roadmap 2025 to empower social enterprises and the broader impact economy. With $20 million to be invested annually, our mission is to harness resources and innovations that improve the lives of Queenslanders. We are seeking a dynamic professional with advanced commercial acumen and investment assessment skills to join our team. In This Role, You Will Support the Director in developing and delivering impact investing programs to achieve measurable outcomes for vulnerable Queenslanders. Contribute to the coordination and assessment of impact investment proposals. Provide strategic policy and implementation advice to key decision-makers on the government's impact investing roadmap and products. Build and maintain positive working relationships with government and non government stakeholders to drive collaboration and shared impact. Assist in negotiations with internal and external stakeholders to unlock capital from philanthropic and institutional investors. What Experience You Will Bring To excel in this role, you will demonstrate: High-level interpersonal skills and experience in engaging and influencing investment stakeholders, including negotiating investment agreements. Proven application of commercial and investment transaction principles in a public sector context. Advanced ability to analyse investment proposals and make recommendations on deal structuring and negotiation parameters. A strong commitment to governance, risk management, probity, and confidentiality. Whilst there are no mandatory qualifications needed for this role, relevant qualifications will be highly regarded.
