This is a Portfolio Manager role with EssilorLuxottica based in Sydney, NSW, AU EssilorLuxottica Role Seniority - mid level, senior More about the Portfolio Manager role at EssilorLuxottica Our Portfolio Manager plays a key role in shaping and optimising Luxottica’s retail property network. Reporting to the Real Estate Director, this position is responsible for managing the day-to-day performance of the portfolio while ensuring all property activities are delivered on time and within approved parameters. You will lead the negotiation of new and existing leases with landlords and their agents, helping to secure strategic locations and deliver strong commercial outcomes for the business. This is an opportunity to influence the evolution of our retail footprint and support the continued success of our iconic brands. Your Responsibilities Identify and negotiate new and existing store locations in line with business strategy and the network plan, ensuring strong landlord and contractor relationships. Conduct feasibility analyses for new stores, prepare Luxottica Board submissions, and coordinate Corporate Real Estate approvals with HQ. Manage lease renewals to ensure they are completed on time and within budget, minimising any holdover exposure to the business. Liaise with Lease Admin, Finance and Legal teams to ensure accurate SAP Property updates, timely documentation, payments, and alignment with store opening timelines. Prepare all feasibility reports, fixed asset reviews, and support strategic decisions regarding store expansions, reductions, relocations or closures. Oversee smooth end-to-end lease processes, including direct negotiation of lease renewals and ensuring operational and financial requirements are met. About You Ideally hold a tertiary degree/diploma in Property Minimum of 5 years negotiation experience within Retail Leasing Established relationships with retailers and landlords. Expertise in Lease Administration and Retail Tenancy Act Ability to manage and provide recommendations to the broader business on feasibility analysis Ability to manage at both strategic and tactical levels within a rapidly changing environment ideally have SAP experience and/or Property Leasing Management databases.
