Afrimat CM Eastern Cape (Pty) Ltd, based at Blue Rock and KWT Quarries, has a vacancy for a: Health and Safety Officer Minimum Qualification / Requirements Grade 12 with Relevant Tertiary Qualification Computer Literate - MS Office with Excel experience Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Valid driver license Clear criminal record Minimum of 5 years’ working experience Legal compliance knowledge Medically fit to perform duties in the mine Health and Safety Act Must be able to work under pressure Duties and Responsibilities Investigating accidents and incidents Conducting and completing risk assessments and site inspections Conduct risk assessments Identify potential hazards Monitoring compliance with safety regulations Regular inspections of equipment and tools Practice safe working conditions Monitoring working conditions of employees Assisting management to ensure employees follow health and safety regulations Weekly, monthly and ad hoc feedback and reporting Ad hoc assignments Application Materials Please upload the following documents in one file with the application form to the right.
