Since 1950, we’ve been supporting our members and coastal communities, and today we’re the world’s largest processor of Western Rock Lobster, handling around 70% of WA’s commercial catch. We’re now looking for a motivated and reliable team member to join our Welshpool logistics crew from March, supporting our busy seasonal operations. About the Role This casual position involves operating our large trucks, including roles such as: Airport transfers Water tanker operations General logistics support Most shifts will fall between 11am and 9pm , so afternoon and evening availability is essential. Flexibility is key – shifts may change at short notice, and weekend work may be required. You’ll be physically active, loading and unloading baskets of lobsters, bait, and fishing supplies – each weighing up to 30kg . This is a hands-on role suited to someone who enjoys working outside standard office hours and can adapt quickly to changing needs. What You’ll Need Essential Requirements: Ability to pass a National Police Clearance Ability to pass a pre-employment medical Ability to obtain an ASIC clearance for airport deliveries Ability to pass alcohol testing before each shift Willingness to undergo random drug testing Physically fit – able to lift/move loads up to 30kg (dual-person lifts) Comfortable working with seafood and shellfish products Minimum HC Driver’s License Ability to pass a Commercial Driver’s Medical Desirable: Experience in light to medium industry production (seafood, meat, or dairy preferred) Forklift licence Why Join GFC?
