Requirements for this role: Flexible hours available 2-3 years of relevant work experience required for this role Work visa will be provided for this role Expected salary: $75,000 - $80,000 per year Duties and Responsibilities - Truck Driver (General) Follow the daily job schedule to complete the deliveries on time. Fully understand how to operate and safely drive your assigned vehicle as per the road safety rules and regulation Inspect vehicles for mechanical items and safety issues and perform preventative maintenance Hook & unhook Trailers & dollies when necessary Keep accurate records of deliveries and pickups and ensure to completed Digital docket and send the weighbridge docket to the office for authorization Ensure contents are properly secured in a truck, flatbed to prevent damage/injury Conducting pre-starts on trucks Follow all OH&S regulations and furthering the safety culture by ensuring strict adherence to road rules and transport legislation Pick-up and safely transport goods and deliver materials to various projects/intended destination Drive safely and follow all laws and rules of driving to maintain a safe and healthy work environment by following the instruction provided Keep company truck clean and ensure it is well-maintained, has fuel, oil and is road compliant Adhering to strict fatigue and safety procedures Communicate with the office by phone to update them of issues or concerns relating to the day’s run Follow scheduled jobs as per the provided job number sent the night prior Treat customers & site staff with respect and ensure you provide outstanding customer service Ensure a solid understanding of fatigue management Requirements: HC or MC Driving License with minimum 3 Years’ experience in truck driving Minimum 2 years of experience in driving Road Trains in WA Previous Experience in Bulk Haulage is a must Must have a White Card Experience in using the ‘Docketbook ‘system for daily operation is added advantage Well-presented and excellent communication skills This job is for you if you are multi skilled, enjoy the challenge of driving and have had experience in the waste industry in this field. Experience is valuable however reliability, motivation & positive attitude are essential Drivers with various construction site inductions and road train experience will be highly regarded
