The position of Food Technology Teacher is a key member of the College’s Arts and Technologies Department. The Food Technology Teacher will demonstrate a high level of professionalism and commitment whilst supporting the Catholic ethos and values of the College. The teacher will be responsible for planning and delivering engaging and inclusive Food Technology lessons, maintaining accurate student records, and contributing to the wellbeing and pastoral care of students. This position is to be in attendance full time and must be available for a variety of staff meetings and school events on nominated days, in-line with the requirements of the Enterprise Agreement. The Food Technology Teacher is accountable to the Head of Arts and Technologies who reports to the Vice and College Principal. This position will work collaboratively with staff, students and parents to creative a positive and cohesive year group culture.
