Internal expression of interest Temporary until May 2026 Full-time (35 hours per week) opportunity Office location upon negotiation across NSW, hybrid working supported Salary relative to experience, and ranges from $99,938 to $110,271 super Our National Resources Access Regulator (NRAR) team is currently seeking to appoint an Assistant Project Officer to provide administrative and co-ordination support to the Engagement team. This person will ensure the efficient and effective design and planning of engagement across the agency in alignment with IAP2 principles, identify and map stakeholders to inform engagement strategies, assist with the development of tailored stakeholder communication materials and messaging, ensure all engagements are recorded and measured appropriately and conduct stakeholder engagement evaluation and analysis. This role will also support the branch to deliver a range of engagement activities including stakeholder research, event management and other key strategic projects. Key accountabilities Provide project and administrative support, including monitoring and reporting on engagement plans, milestones and deliverables, to ensure time, cost and quality indicators are in line with approved project plans. Undertake stakeholder research and analysis and contribute to the preparation of the stakeholder engagement strategy, and engagement plans in alignment with IAP2 principles. Provide a range of administrative services, including coordinating WIP meetings, overseeing the project management tool and stakeholder relationship management tools such as Borealis. Identify opportunities to reach key stakeholder groups and communicate/engage with them to provide updates regarding project status and implementation issues. Assist the engagement team to complete tasks and implement engagement plans, including collating documents and records regarding relevant issues to ensure projects comply with agreed project methodologies and that agreed outcomes are achieved. Contribute to the development of project documentation and resource estimates. Compiling and analysing data to identify trends and patterns in stakeholder feedback. Key challenges Delivering multiple project and forums/roundtable support activities in line with agreed standards and objectives, given tight deadlines and competing demands and priorities. Delivery of engagement projects and activities. Exercising diplomacy and judgement when liaising with representatives of peak government and non government bodies, and key industry participants.
