About the Team & Office Join our Sydney Network Operations team as a Casual Assistant Network Operations Coordinator, where no two shifts are the same and your work genuinely keeps the business moving. You’ll be part of the team behind the scenes, providing responsive, customer‑focused technical support that helps our people do their best work — whether they’re on air, in studio or working remotely. You’ll be based in our Sydney office, right in the thick of it — steps from great coffee, easy transport and some of the city’s best lunch spots (and post‑work snacks). A day in the life? You’ll be part of the team that keeps Southern Cross Austereo on air and running smoothly, around the clock. Working on a rotating roster — including early starts, late finishes and overnight shifts — you’ll provide first‑line technical support to teams across the country, troubleshooting issues, monitoring systems and keeping our studios and business systems performing at their best. From responding to incidents and escalating issues where needed, to assisting with upgrades, documentation and projects, you’ll be hands‑on, detail‑focused and calm under pressure. No two shifts are the same — but every shift plays a vital role in keeping Australia listening. This role would suit someone looking to start their career in a tech role in the Media Industry!
