We are seeking a skilled and experienced Group Finance Manager to lead financial operations within the retail industry. Description The Group Finance Manager will be responsible for but not limited to: Oversee the preparation of group financial statements and reporting and reports to ensure accuracy and compliance with regulations. POC for external audit escalations Deep understanding of the consolidation system and ERP Consolidation and review of monthly Group Cash Flow Lead and manage the consolidated budgeting and forecasting processes across the organisation. Provide insights and recommendations to senior management based on financial analysis and performance metrics. Ensure compliance with all statutory reporting requirements and financial controls. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimise financial processes and systems. Supervise and mentor the finance team to achieve departmental goals and maintain high performance. Ad hoc improvement projects Profile A successful Group Finance Manager should have: Relevant tertiary qualifications in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. Professional certification such as CPA or CA. Big-4 or mid-tier audit background ideal Strong leadership and team management skills. Advanced knowledge of financial regulations, reporting standards, and compliance requirements. Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities. Experience with consolidation tool and dealing with large ERP Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills.
