Applications close: 18 March 2026 Water Crew Member 2 x Permanent Full-time Positions Enjoy a rostered day off every fortnight Additional allowances applicable as per the Local Government State Award (2023) Competitive Salary: $65,281.84 - $75,868.52 12% superannuation per annum (Depending on skills and experience) What you'll do: Reporting to the Team Leader Water you'll play an integral role in the delivery of high-quality water services by undertaking a range of duties associated with the inspection, operation, maintenance, repair, and construction of water reticulation assets. This position supports both scheduled and reactive work programs to ensure the reliability, safety, and efficiency of the water network in accordance with regulatory requirements and service standards. You'll be responsible for: Performing manual labour and operating various tools and equipment safely and effectively. Assist with the construction of new water services, modifications to infrastructure, asset installations, and routine maintenance tasks. Contribute to water network operations and support water quality monitoring activities. Communicate effectively and work cooperatively with internal teams, contractors, and the public when required. Proven ability in team collaboration, communication, and problem-solving skill set. Demonstrated ability in the use of computer applications, and operating devices, embracing digital solutions for works activities to enable field productivity and scheduling based systems to facilitate day to-day operations. Ability to effectively communicate with key stakeholders in delivering information on operational and maintenance services. Competency in the use of an Excavator and a WHS Induction Card. Other Requirements Complete immunisation record of Hepatitis A, B and Tetanus or willingness to obtain prior to commencement Willingness to complete a pre-employment medical prior to commencement Willingness to obtain within 12 months of employment; MR Drivers Licence, Confined Space Entry Certificate, Working from Heights ticket, Working Safely Near Live Electrical Apparatus certificate, Traffic Control Combo (Stop Slow Bat and Implement Traffic Plans), Asbestos Awareness training and Forklift ticket.
