The Role As the Research Grants and Development Officer, you'll play a key role in supporting the Institute's research funding activities. Reporting to the Head of Research Grants and Development, you'll assist with the compliance and management of grant applications - from identifying funding opportunities and coordinating submissions, to supporting post-award processes and contributing to departmental reporting. This is a varied and rewarding role with scope to grow and shape your responsibilities based on your skills and experience. What We Will Trust You With Identifying and communicating suitable funding opportunities Reviewing grant applications for compliance and completeness Assisting researchers with application development and budgeting Liaising with UNSW and funders to submit funding applications Facilitating execution of funding agreements and variation requests Maintaining the grants management database including grant related ethics approvals, data management plans, and milestone reports Proofreading or comprehensively reviewing applications depending on experience Coordinating internal funding rounds and approvals Contributing to departmental reporting, meetings, and performance metrics Does This Sound Like You?
