Due to continued growth, they are seeking an experienced Finance Manager to join their leadership team. Reporting directly to the CEO, this is a key role responsible for overseeing the financial operations of the organisation while providing strategic insights to support sustainable growth and strong governance. This role will suit a hands-on Finance Manager who enjoys being involved in both the strategic and operational aspects of finance -from reporting and compliance through to budgeting, forecasting and financial analysis. Your role As Finance Manager, you will play a critical role in ensuring the organisation operates with strong financial governance, compliance, and financial sustainability. Preparing and delivering accurate financial reports for leadership and management Managing cash flow, forecasting, and budgeting across multiple service streams Providing commercial insights and financial analysis to support strategic decisions Ensuring compliance with Australian Accounting Standards, tax obligations and reporting requirements Managing PAYG, FBT, Workcover and statutory reporting obligations Overseeing payroll accuracy and compliance with Award conditions Managing the external audit process and responding to audit findings Monitoring budget performance and reporting on financial variances Maintaining financial systems, policies, and procedures to ensure strong governance Supporting operational leaders with financial guidance and reporting About You We are seeking a finance professional who combines technical expertise with a proactive, hands-on approach and the ability to partner with senior stakeholders. CA or CPA qualification 10 years’ experience in a similar finance leadership role Strong knowledge of Australian Accounting Standards, tax and compliance requirements Proven experience managing financial reporting, budgeting and forecasting Experience overseeing payroll and Award compliance Advanced capability with accounting systems (Xero highly regarded) Excellent communication skills and the ability to present financial insights to senior leaders A hands-on approach with strong attention to detail and accountability Experience within the community, health, or not-for-profit sector will be highly regarded but is not essential.
