This permanent, full‑time role is based in Brisbane within Westpac’s Institutional Bank and the Lending Service Team under WIBTO, focused on delivering market‑leading service for Westpac Corporate and Institutional Bank (CIB) customers through strong portfolio management, process improvement, and enhanced technology. What’s the role? As the Lending Services Analyst, you deliver end‑to‑end lending and trade services to clients across industry groups, supporting relationships and standards. You partner with Relationship Managers and stakeholders to meet client needs across new and existing lending and trade products, acting as the operational point of contact for day‑to‑day requirements. Additionally, you’ll manage origination and fulfilment activities, including onboarding, customer verification, and coordination of lending and trade transactions such as drawdowns, settlements, documentation, and refinancing. You anticipate changing client and sector needs, resolve service queries, and support customers to adopt new banking technologies that improve efficiency. You will embed strong risk management and compliance practices, identify and resolve non‑financial risk issues, deliver accurate reporting, and contribute to continuous improvement. You collaborate across product, credit, legal, operations, and trade teams to deliver seamless outcomes for clients and the broader CIB business. What do I need? Proven ability to manage clients and understand their servicing needs across Lending products and Financial Markets solutions. Familiarity with the systems, procedures, and processes that support lending and Financial Markets activities. Strong commercial and business acumen with solid knowledge of lending products, credit processes, and implementation workflows. Proactive management of business partners to ensure timely and accurate service deliver Demonstrated ability to build and maintain strong relationships with key clients and internal stakeholders. Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a good foundational understanding of lending principles. Why join us?
