About the role As the Marketing Insights & Lead Generation Manager, you will play a critical role in building and scaling an elite, data-led lead generation engine for Vocus. This role is about deep analysis, insight generation and optimisation. You will work hand-in-glove with our Marketing Automation & CRM Manager, using data to inform how leads are sourced, segmented, nurtured, scored and converted across the funnel. You’ll be responsible for analysing various data sets (CRM, campaign, behavioural, customer and third-party data), identifying opportunities, and translating insight into clear actions that improve demand generation, campaign effectiveness and customer experience. What you’ll be responsible for Lead Generation & Demand Optimisation Analyse lead, opportunity and campaign data to identify performance drivers, gaps and optimisation opportunities across the full funnel Support the design and ongoing refinement of lead nurture programs, working closely with the Marketing Automation & CRM Manager Use insights to inform targeting, segmentation, messaging, CTAs and offers to improve conversion and pipeline contribution Customer & Market Insights Deeply analyse customer behaviour, preferences and buying signals across Simple Enterprise, Mid-Market and SMB segments Identify trends, patterns and opportunities from raw data sets and translate them into actionable insights Analyse competitive offers and market activity to inform positioning, propositions and campaign strategy Customer Journey Analysis Map and continuously refine customer journeys using data to understand drop-off points, friction and moments of opportunity Cross-match behavioural, campaign and CRM data to uncover how customers move through the funnel and lifecycle Identify opportunities for personalisation, automation and smarter engagement at each stage Data Analysis & Reporting Own the analysis and interpretation of marketing and sales data, turning complex data into clear, compelling insights Build and maintain dashboards, reports and ad-hoc analysis to support decision-making (monthly MBRs and on-demand reporting) Track and report on key KPIs including lead quality, conversion rates, pipeline contribution, campaign ROI and customer engagement CRM & Data Management (Salesforce) Support end-to-end lead and data management within Salesforce, including data enrichment, list processing and lead reporting Partner closely with CRM, SFMC and data teams to ensure data integrity, usability and insight generation Support opportunity campaign creation for outbound sales and coordination of EDM and communication lists Collaboration & Stakeholder Engagement Work closely with the Marketing Automation & CRM Manager to operationalise insights into automated journeys and campaigns Partner with sales, digital performance, segment leads and data teams to align insight, execution and outcomes Communicate insights clearly to stakeholders, helping teams understand the “so what” and “what next” What you’ll bring to the role Experience & Background 8–10 years’ experience in B2B marketing, insights, demand generation or analytics-focused roles Experience in telecommunications, technology, SaaS or digital infrastructure highly regarded Degree in Marketing, Business, Analytics, Data, or equivalent industry experience (MBA or analytics qualifications highly regarded) Capabilities & Skills Strong data and analytical capability - confident working with large, complex data sets Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, formulas, data manipulation) and strong reporting capability Experience working with CRM and marketing automation platforms (Salesforce / SFMC experience highly regarded) Deep understanding of lead generation mechanics, funnels, lifecycle marketing and customer journeys Commercially minded with the ability to translate data into clear, actionable recommendations Comfortable operating in fast-paced, evolving environments with ambiguity What We Offer Working at Vocus will give you rewarding experiences and the opportunity to do extraordinary work.
