Social, Content & Community Lead Sydney | Hybrid Lumen People Co. is partnering with a well-established national music retail group to recruit a Social, Content & Community Lead across two respected brands. This role owns the organic social presence, content direction and community growth strategy across Meta, TikTok and YouTube. It sits at the centre of brand storytelling, digital engagement and cultural relevance. You will build the emotional connection that paid media amplifies and eCommerce converts, shaping how the brand shows up to musicians, creators and customers across Australia. The Role Own organic social strategy and day-to-day execution across Meta, TikTok and YouTube, setting direction and maintaining consistent output Develop clear content pillars across product categories, education, music culture and community to ensure cohesive storytelling Plan, script and produce high-quality short and long form video content tailored to each platform Lead content shoots with artists, staff, creators and customers, ensuring strong creative direction and brand alignment Build and manage a structured creator and ambassador program, including collaborations, product seeding and content partnerships Grow engaged communities across platforms through active engagement, conversation and advocacy initiatives Host livestreams, product showcases and key retail campaign moments to drive reach and interaction Own tone of voice and narrative across all organic channels, maintaining authenticity and credibility Monitor sentiment and surface meaningful insights to marketing, eCommerce and retail teams to inform strategy Collaborate closely with digital and retail teams to ensure content supports broader commercial objectives What You Bring Proven experience owning and scaling organic social channels for retail, consumer, or music and entertainment brands Strong strategic thinking with the ability to build clear content pillars and long-term narrative Confidence planning and producing high-quality, platform-native video content across TikTok, Meta and YouTube An understanding of how organic content supports eCommerce, paid media and in-store activity Genuine interest in understanding music culture and how musicians, creators and educators engage online Experience building and managing structured creator or ambassador program Experience running things like livestreams, community activations or real-world brand moments Strong collaboration skills across marketing, retail and digital teams A genuine passion for music and community management, alongside social content Hands-on video content production capability is a bonus High standards, strong output and attention to detail If you are passionate about music, content and building real community, and ready to take ownership of a national brand’s social presence, we’d love to hear from you.
