Development Manager – Apartments (Open to high-performing Assistant Development Managers ready to step up) An established and highly respected property developer is seeking a Development Manager to join its Melbourne-based team and help deliver a high-profile apartment project. This is an outstanding opportunity for an experienced Assistant Development Manager who is ready to step into a Development Manager role, or for an established DM seeking a values-driven, delivery-focused environment. You will be responsible for supporting and leading the delivery of a major residential apartment project from planning through to completion, working closely with senior leaders, consultants and delivery partners. Key Responsibilities: Support and manage the end-to-end delivery of a residential apartment development Coordinate and manage consultants across planning, design, engineering and cost disciplines Assist with development feasibility, budgets and programme management Drive planning approvals and authority engagement Support procurement and delivery strategies in collaboration with construction and commercial teams Prepare internal reporting for senior management Contribute to a collaborative, high-performance project culture Skills and Experience: Experience as an Assistant Development Manager or Development Manager within residential or mixed-use developments Tertiary qualification in property, construction, planning or a related discipline Sound understanding of development feasibility, budgets and consultant management Confident communicator with the ability to build trusted relationships with internal and external stakeholders Highly organised, commercially minded and outcomes focused What's on offer?
