A well-established CA practice that provides accounting, taxation, and business advice to small and medium businesses and individual client are seeking a professional and organised Receptionist / Admin Assistant to manage the front desk and support the Office Manager in day-to-day operations. While this is a reception-focused role, there is scope to take on additional administrative responsibilities and contribute across the firm. Key responsibilities include: Managing the front reception desk: answering and directing calls, greeting clients and visitors Processing incoming and outgoing mail, both physical and electronic Maintaining reception, meeting rooms, and kitchen areas Supporting filing systems, including scanning, electronic filing, and archiving Assisting offshore administration staff and providing guidance when needed Liaising with the ATO and ASIC regarding correspondence, notices, and registrations Attending to electronic signing processes for accounting and taxation compliance tasks Providing general administrative and clerical support as required What the firm is looking for: Previous reception experience in an accounting firm Excellent verbal and written communication skills Strong IT skills and ability to adapt to new systems (the office is largely paperless) Experience in additional accounting firm tasks is highly desirable, including: ASIC administration Tax lodgements Electronic copy and binding of tax documents (Financial Accounts, ITRs, BAS/IAS, etc.) ATO communications MYOB Accountants Office use Positive attitude and a desire to contribute to a supportive and inclusive office culture Proactive, energetic, and able to work both independently and as part of a team Benefits: On-site parking Paid birthday off Birthday cake / lunch celebrations CA study support and mentorship Career development opportunities with low staff turnover Flexible working hours Close proximity to the train station This is a fantastic opportunity for a skilled receptionist/admin professional to join a dynamic team with opportunities to expand responsibilities over time.
