The Role Opportunities have arisen for a hands-on Safety Officer’s to join the team across 3 locations in Sydney; Wetherill Park Chullora Kings Park This is a boots-on-ground role focused on transforming safety culture, strengthening compliance, and supporting operational teams in a fast-paced, high-risk environment. You will be working closely with supervisors and subcontractors to drive proactive safety outcomes. Key Responsibilities Conduct site inspections and hazard identification Lead risk assessments and maintain SWMS Deliver inductions, toolbox talks, and safety briefings Oversee subcontractor compliance and engagement Support incident investigations and reporting Assist in uplifting safety systems and on-site standards Partner with operations to build practical, workable safety solutions Opportunity to work at high-risk facilities involving: Hot works Working at heights Confined space Crane operations Oversized heavy vehicle loading Spray painting and chemical management About You We are looking for someone who is: Hands-on and operational (not desk-bound) Confident working with subcontractors and diverse teams Proactive and solution-focused Comfortable in fast-paced, high-risk environments Experienced in manufacturing, fabrication, heavy industry, or construction You will ideally hold: Certificate IV in WHS (or equivalent) White Card Previous operational WHS experience (2 years preferred) Why Join?
