About the Role As an Environmental Health Officer, you will play a key role in ensuring compliance with environmental health legislation and promoting sustainable practices. Your responsibilities will include: Conducting inspections of food premises, cooling towers, skin penetration facilities, and on-site sewage systems. Investigating environmental health complaints and incidents, including noise, air, water, and land pollution. Assessing development applications for compliance with environmental health standards. Delivering community education programs and health promotion initiatives. Preparing reports, correspondence, and educational materials. Participating in emergency response and after-hours duties on a rotational basis. What We’re Looking For Degree in Environmental Health or a related discipline. Current NSW Driver’s Licence (Class C). Strong knowledge of environmental health legislation and practices. Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage stakeholders and the community. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and strong report-writing skills. Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team. Flexibility to work outside standard hours when required.
