We now have an exciting opportunity for a Project Manager to join our Technology Team in the Brisbane office on a permanent full-time basis. As part of the Business Platforms Delivery Team, you’ll be accountable for the successful delivery of Business Platforms Projects, in terms of delivering to the agreed outcomes, while maintaining scope, timeline, budget, and quality expectations. The role also supports the successful delivery and governance of the Business Platforms Portfolio by maintaining up-to-date Portfolio plans, coordinating governance forums, and driving continuous improvement within the project management framework. Reporting to the Business Technology Program Manager, this role requires extensive cross-functional coordination across business and technology units, and close collaboration with our customers, third-party vendors, and internal delivery partners. The role also supports the Business Platforms Portfolio Manager in ensuring transparency, consistency, and decision readiness across inflight initiatives, while uplifting delivery maturity through reporting, stakeholder engagement, and process optimisation. You will join a high performing team that is accountable for the delivery of multiple complex Programs, Projects and Initiatives for our business customers. Key Responsibilities Develop and manage Project plans, with clear milestones, deliverables, dependencies, and integration points. Lead and coordinate the execution of Project activities across functional, technical, and service delivery workstreams. Drive alignment across Business and Technology to deliver Project objectives while minimising disruption to ongoing operations. Proactively manage Project risks, issues, assumptions, and dependencies, ensuring timely mitigation and escalation where required. Manage Project scope and ensure change control processes are in place and adhered to. Monitor and control Project budget, forecast, and actuals across internal and external cost elements. Develop and track KPIs to measure Project success and progress against key milestones. Ensure the delivery of all required documentation, including status reports, decision papers, and post-implementation reviews. Maintain Portfolio plans, dashboards, and reporting artefacts to support executive decision-making. Coordinate governance forums including scheduling, agenda preparation, and action tracking. Support the development of executive briefing packs, steering committee papers, and status reports. Provide project management support including standing up programs, projects and initiatives in APA PPM tool, resource forecasting and financial tracking tools. Manage demand forecasting, resource utilisation, timesheet compliance, and vendor invoicing. Drive continuous improvement initiatives across the portfolio management practices. Provide data-driven insights to support an informed decision-making process across the Business Platforms portfolio. About You You’ll bring a strong background in project management and portfolio support, with a passion for operational excellence and stakeholder engagement. You’ll be confident working across multiple programs and projects, and thrive in a fast-paced, strategically sensitive environment. You’ll also have: Proven experience in project management within the energy sector, with exposure to Technology Projects is a must have. Hands-on experience in supporting Portfolio, Program and Project delivery with exposure to multi workstream Programs and Projects of budgets up to $40m. Experience in delivering critical infrastructure projects is highly desirable. Advanced knowledge of project management lifecycles and methodologies. Strong financial tracking and reconciliation skills. Advanced MS Office and PPM tool skills e.g., Altus, MS Project. Excellent communication, coordination, and facilitation skills.
