We now have an exciting opportunity available for a Head of the Integrated Operations Control Room to join us in our Market Services team in Brisbane, QLD on a Permanent Full Time Basis. Reporting to the General Manager Market Services, you will play a pivotal role in providing strategic and operational leadership to the Integrated Operations Control Room team, ensuring the safe and reliable operation of all assets managed within the Integrated Operations Centre (IOC). Key Responsibilities Lead the safe, reliable and efficient 24/7 monitoring and operation of assets under IOC control, ensuring robust business continuity and system integrity. Guide and support the Integrated Operations Control Room, fostering a collaborative, high-performing team environment. Provide clear and confident decision-making during significant events or emerging risks, coordinating with field operations and market operators, and escalating to the General Manager Market Services or Executive where appropriate. Serve as the senior escalation point for critical incidents, asset integrity matters and major system performance issues, ensuring timely communication and resolution. Oversee operational readiness and the seamless integration of new assets into IOC control, including commissioning and handover processes. Promote continuous improvement, effective risk management and strong governance practices to enhance operational resilience and performance. Your Background Experience leading teams within a 24/7 operations, control room, energy or critical infrastructure environment. Demonstrated ability to make sound, balanced decisions during complex or high-pressure situations. Strong experience managing incident response and stakeholder engagement across operational and customer environments. Exposure to asset integration, commissioning or operational readiness within structured governance frameworks. Solid understanding of compliance, regulatory and risk management requirements. A collaborative leadership style, with a focus on building capability, empowering teams and fostering operational excellence.
