We specialise in the supply and support of CCTV, access control, intrusion detection and IP-based security systems to business customers across the security sector. We are seeking a Technical Sales Representative to join our Parramatta branch. This position combines consultative B2B sales with technical solution design and advisory support across electronic security systems, with a primary focus on revenue generation and business development. Key Responsibilities Manage and grow a portfolio of business customers within the electronic security sector Identify and develop new business opportunities Engage customers to understand technical and commercial requirements Promote and sell CCTV, access control and related security technologies Prepare quotations, proposals and supporting documentation Maintain CRM records and sales pipeline reporting Develop and maintain long-term customer relationships to support ongoing business growth Technical responsibilities include: Designing tailored security system solutions based on customer requirements and site conditions Recommending and specifying appropriate hardware, software and networking components Preparing system layouts and supporting technical documentation Providing pre- and post-sales technical support Providing technical guidance during system commissioning and assisting in resolving configuration or operational matters. Liaising with suppliers and manufacturers to resolve technical matters Delivering product demonstrations and technical training Skills & Experience Demonstrated experience in technical sales or product advisory roles within the security, electronics or IT industry Demonstrated experience selling and supporting electronic security systems Strong working knowledge of IP networking fundamentals Ability to design and specify CCTV, access control and alarm systems Strong communication and customer engagement skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Current Australian driver’s licence Please note, only successful candidates will be contacted for the next stage of the recruitment process.
