We have opportunities for a skilled and driven Excavator Operator to join our team working on projects across all of Melbourne. About the opportunity Reporting to the Site Supervisor, your key duties include, but are not limited to: Prepare and position plant for operation Load and unload equipment as required Excavate or scrape earth, rock or rubble to the correct level and alignment using GPS equipment Select, change and operate special attachments such as buckets, loading scoops, etc. Monitor operation of plant and adjust accordingly Work from drawings and markers for essential services (i.e. electrical, gas etc.), as directed by Supervisors and Engineers Follow and ensure safe operating procedures at all times About you To be considered, you need to demonstrate the following: At least 2 years' experience operating excavators in a subdivision setting. GPS, Topcon or Trimble experience is a must as you will be operating front line machines. Ability to work under pressure. Current driver’s licence and plant tickets. Safety focused attitude. Able to work as part of a team. Flexible to work and move across machines and sites as needed by the business.
