We are seeking expressions of interest from experienced Cloud Engineers to support federal government programs delivering scalable, secure cloud infrastructure and enterprise technology solutions. The roles offer the chance to contribute to high-impact projects across multiple agencies while working in a collaborative, technically-focused environment. The Opportunity You will have the opportunity to design, deploy, and optimise cloud infrastructure, collaborating with stakeholders on architecture and migration strategies. There are multiple opportunities to work across end-to-end architecture or purely engineering streams. These are 12 month contracts, with extension options up to 24 months. The Role As a Cloud Engineer, you will: Develop and manage infrastructure as code (IaC) using tools like Terraform, Ansible, or AWS CDK Implement automation and CI/CD pipelines to streamline deployment processes Design and operate medium-to-large-scale enterprise systems, databases, and infrastructure Script solutions using Perl, Python, and PowerShell to optimise workflows Maintain and monitor cloud infrastructure to ensure high availability and performance Design scalable cloud solutions aligned with business goals and user needs Plan and execute cloud migration strategies in collaboration with stakeholders The Ideal Person Minimum three years’ experience in cloud design, deployment, and optimisation Experience with infrastructure and platform-as-a-service solutions (Terraform, Azure ARM, AWS CDK) Proficient in Perl, PowerShell, and CI/CD tooling; strong Git skills Including backups, storage, systems administration, and data protection Strong stakeholder engagement skills and commitment to collaborative team development Salary / Rate $130/hr - $160/hr including Super How to Apply To apply online, please click on the appropriate link.
