Our client is seeking a highly capable specialist to take ownership of their enterprise data environment and drive the performance, security, and reliability of their mission‑critical systems. About the Role You will join a high-performing Information Management & Technology team responsible for delivering secure, scalable, and reliable database services. Working across complex on‑premises and cloud environments, you will provide expert development support, administration, optimisation, and technical leadership. Key Responsibilities Design, install, configure, and maintain on‑premises and hybrid MS SQL Server environments. Ensure database performance, high availability, replication, and security across large-scale environments. Identify and resolve performance issues using index tuning and monitoring tools. Implement clustering, maintenance plans, automated backups, DR strategies, and certificate/access management. Administer and optimise SSAS, SSIS, SSRS, and Power BI reporting platforms. Troubleshoot performance issues across hybrid and multi‑cloud ecosystems (Azure / AWS). Maintain clear, comprehensive technical documentation for database and cloud configurations. Essential Requirements Strong hands-on experience with MS SQL Server, Always-On Availability Groups, SQL Replication, and cloud SQL platforms.
