Health, Safety and Wellness Full-time continuing position Base salary will be in the range $117,958 - $132,247 17% Superannuation (HEW Level 8) Based at our St Lucia - Campus About This Opportunity The Senior Case Manager, Work Injury Management plays a critical role in delivering high-quality, compliant and timely workers’ compensation claims management services within UQ’s self-insured environment. As part of the Health, Safety and Wellness team, you will manage a portfolio of physical and psychological injury claims while contributing to continuous improvement, regulatory compliance and sustainable return-to-work outcomes across a large and complex organisation. Key responsibilities will include: Managing a portfolio of statutory and common law workers’ compensation claims in accordance with the Workers’ Compensation and Rehabilitation Act 2003 and Queensland Regulator Performance Standards Investigating, determining and documenting claims, including preparation of detailed correspondence, submissions and reasons for decision for complex matters Coordinating rehabilitation providers, medical specialists and investigators to facilitate safe and timely return-to-work outcomes Providing coaching and mentoring within the team and supporting the Senior Self Insurance Manager, including relieving management duties as required About UQ As part of the UQ community, you will have the opportunity to work alongside the brightest minds, who have joined us from all over the world.
