Reporting to the Venue Manager, you’ll play a key role in leading the team and ensuring they deliver exceptional guest service and quality food offerings. This role supports the Venue Manager with daily operations, leads shifts, and drives strong team performance while maintaining full compliance with food safety, licensing, and regulatory standards. Located at Driftwood Restaurant in the beautiful Rivershore precinct a relaxed, waterfront dining spot loved by locals and holiday guests alike. You’re Likely a Match If You Bring strong hospitality experience and a passion for creating warm, memorable guest experiences in a fast‑paced venue environment. Are confident using (or keen to learn) Ingenia systems like Swift POS and Tribe, and can follow SOPs, venue processes and compliance requirements with care. Hold relevant certifications (RSA, RCG if required, food safety) and understand food safety, cash handling, licensing and customer service best practice. Lead by example — staying calm under pressure, supporting your team, and maintaining high standards across service, safety, and venue presentation. Are adaptable and proactive, working across varied shifts, jumping in where needed, and staying up‑to‑date with Ingenia policies, procedures and legislation. You’re someone who brings energy, ideas, and a genuine passion for making a difference. You love working with people, solving problems, and creating moments that matter.
