Responsible for the preparation of dishes from the tandoor, including naan bread, chaps, and marinated meats as per the menu and Recruit, Train and mentor other kitchen staff and apprentices in tandoori cooking and other Indian culinary methods. Effectively deal with and rectify the issues for the smooth operations of the Monitor stock levels of tandoori and other essential ingredients and order high-quality raw materials to avoid Providing instructions to kitchen staff regarding the proper way of handling cooking equipment and demonstrating different cooking Create daily prep lists for kitchen Ensure proper storage of tandoori ingredients in temperature-controlled facilities to maintain freshness and Maintain high standards of food hygiene in accordance with regulatory Establish maintenance and cleaning schedules for equipment, storage, and work Prepare tandoori dishes following recipe guidelines, ensuring correct seasoning, marination, and garnish. Ensure portion sizes meet restaurant standards and customer expectations. Allocate and oversee the work of the junior kitchen staff team including cleaning schedules. Applicant must have: Completed a Diploma in Hospitality Management and should have at least 3 years of full-time work experience in a similar position. Annual Salary (depending on experience/skills) between $77,000 - $80,000 plus superannuation.
