ConsultANZ is looking for an Excavation Supervisor to join a well-established civil construction company in Sydney. The company works on major infrastructure, commercial, and industrial projects in Sydney, specializing in shoring walls, foundation piles, piling, and complete basement services. This role gives you the chance to lead challenging excavation projects while working with a skilled and supportive team. Main Responsibilities Supervise excavation and earthworks from planning through to execution and completion. Manage day-to-day site activities, including operators, subcontractors, and site teams. Ensure work is completed safely, on time, and to quality standards. Review plans and site conditions to solve technical or operational issues. Monitor site safety and environmental compliance. Mentor and support junior operators and site staff. Collaborate with project managers to improve site productivity and efficiency. Requirements 5–7 years’ experience in civil construction, excavation, or earthworks supervision. Proven experience operating and supervising heavy plant, including excavators and loaders. Strong knowledge of excavation methods, soil conditions, and safety practices. Required tickets: Excavator/plant operator ticket, White Card, High Risk Work Licences (as applicable). Ability to read plans, interpret specifications, and implement site instructions effectively. Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
