ConsultANZ is looking for a Senior Project Engineer – Piling to join a well-known contractor in Sydney. The company works on major infrastructure, commercial, and industrial projects in Sydney, specializing in bored piling, CFA piling, diaphragm walls, ground improvement, anchoring systems, and other deep foundation work. This role gives you the chance to lead challenging piling projects while working with a skilled and supportive team. Main Responsibilities Oversee piling and ground engineering works from planning through to execution and completion. Manage project programming, cost control, forecasting, and reporting. Coordinate site teams, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure safe and efficient delivery. Review geotechnical data, designs, and methodologies to ensure technical compliance. Identify and mitigate project risks related to ground conditions and construction methodology. Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and quality standards. Mentor and support junior engineers and site staff. Requirements Degree in Civil Engineering or related discipline. 7 years’ experience in civil construction, with strong exposure to piling or ground engineering projects. Demonstrated experience delivering bored piling, CFA, diaphragm walls, or similar deep foundation works. Strong understanding of geotechnical principles and foundation systems. Proven ability to manage project budgets, programmes, and client relationships. Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
