About the role As a Senior Auditor, you will play a key role in the delivery of audit and assurance engagements, working closely with Managers and Partners while providing guidance and support to junior team members. You will: Lead and execute audit assignments across a diverse client base Prepare and review audit working papers and statutory financial reports Perform complex audit testing and review risk assessments Prepare cash flow statements and management letters Respond to client queries and build strong working relationships Assist with special engagements including due diligence, internal audit and fraud reviews Ensure work is completed accurately, on time and within budget Mentor and coach team members Contribute to workflow planning and team resourcing You will be trusted with increased independence and direct client interaction, while continuing to develop your technical capability and leadership skills. About you: You are a technically strong and commercially aware auditor who enjoys taking ownership of your work and supporting others to succeed. You will ideally have: A Bachelor of Commerce, Business (Accounting) or similar qualification 3 years' experience in audit and assurance CA or CPA qualified (or close to completion) Strong knowledge of auditing standards (AUASB) and accounting standards (AASB / IFRS) Experience working with a range of business structures and more complex client groups Experience using audit and accounting software (e.g. CaseWare, Xero, MYOB, QuickBooks) Strong communication skills and confidence dealing directly with clients The ability to manage priorities, budgets and deadlines You are proactive, reliable and committed to maintaining high professional and ethical standards.
