GovTEAMS, a comprehensive whole-of-government collaboration service for the Australian Public Service. GovLINK, a secure inter-agency communication service that encrypts all nominated traffic, classified up to the PROTECTED level, between agency internet gateways. The Parliamentary Document Management System (PDMS), delivering services to support the management of parliamentary workflow across government. The key duties of the position include ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITIES PDMS Developer Are you a skilled developer who thrives in an agile environment and enjoys building secure, reliable digital services? We're seeking a talented APS6 Developer to design, develop, test, and maintain key components of the PDMS application. You'll collaborate with product managers, scrum masters, testers, designers, and other specialists to deliver high-quality functionality through iterative and incremental delivery. You'll bring sound judgement, strong communication skills and the ability to work with limited direction while helping foster a culture of continuous improvement. In this role, you will: Provide technical guidance to internal and external stakeholders, contribute to a solution design and address technical queries. Develop secure and fit-for-purpose code that aligned with established standards and quality expectations. Mentor APS colleagues, building technical capability and supporting product delivery. Prepare and maintain technical documentation, including application, security and release artefacts. Implement new functionality across a multi-tier enterprise environment, including front end, server-side components and database design. Investigate, troubleshoot and resolve technical issues to ensure system stability and performance. PDMS Test Analyst Are you passionate about quality assurance and motivated by improving digital services for government? We're seeking an experienced Test Analyst to support the delivery of reliable, high-performing functionality within PDMS. This role suits someone with strong analytical skills, sound judgement and a commitment to enhancing user experience. Your work will directly contribute to the stability and performance of critical government digital services. In this role, you will: Collaborate across multidisciplinary teams to understand business requirements and align testing activities. Develop, execute, and maintain test artefacts including test plans, test cases and automated test scripts. Participate in agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, reviews, retrospectives. Identify, document, and manage defects, ensuring issues are clearly communicated and resolved. Review testing processes and contribute to improvements in quality assurance practices. We're looking for someone with a strong problem-solving capability, an understanding of agile methodologies, and a commitment to delivering reliable, user-focused solutions.
