The key duties of the position include EL1 Agency Security Advisor (ASA) We are seeking a strategic and detail-oriented Agency Security Advisor (ASA) to support the Chief Security Officer (CSO) in safeguarding the ANAO's people, assets, and reputation. As ASA, you will drive the development and implementation of security programs, ensure compliance with the Protective Security Policy Framework (PSPF), and promote a strong security culture across the agency. As the Agency Security Advisor, you will: Oversee physical security and facility controls, including access management and security assessments. Provide strategic advice on personnel and physical security risks, supporting alignment with the Protective Security Policy Framework (PSPF) and the ANAO's risk appetite. Lead and coordinate personnel security arrangements, including security clearance management, compliance monitoring, and engagement with AGSVA and key stakeholders. Identify and assess insider threat risks and emerging vulnerabilities, contributing analysis and recommendations to inform decision making. Coordinate and support the agency's response to physical security incidents and investigations. Prepare high quality briefings, reports and advice for the CSO, CISO and Security Committee to support governance and assurance activities. Lead and manage a small team, providing coaching and mentoring to junior staff. EL1 Deputy Chief Information Officer (DCIO) We are seeking a strategic and detail-oriented Deputy Chief Information Officer (DCIO) to perform a key leadership role supporting the CIO, with responsibility for the effective day-to-day delivery of IT services, vendor assurance, and operational governance across managed services providers and key technology partners.You will oversee portfolio-level risks, issues and changes, ensure Microsoft 365 services remain current and fit for purpose, and work closely with the broader Security function to manage incidents and remediate vulnerabilities. As the Deputy Chief Information Officer, you will: Coordinate and assure delivery of business-as-Usual IT services across managed service and gateway providers, including monitoring service levels, addressing performance issues, and driving remediation actions Chair or coordinate operational governance forums (such as service reviews, Change Advisory Board inputs) and maintain portfolio-level risk, issue and change registers. Oversee the evergreen management of Microsoft 365, assessing the impacts of proposed changes and ensuring business readiness with Service owners. Liaise closely with the Security function to respond to security incidents, manage vulnerability remediation pathways, and support technology risk management activities. Guide ICT procurement and contract lifecycle activities, including renewals, RFT support and invoice validation, in line with ANAO policies and processes. Prepare clear,concise executive briefings, dashboards and papers to support CIO decision-making and governance committees. EL1 Director, Property Services We are seeking a motivated and experienced individual to lead the ANAO's Property Services function (ANAOassist). In this key leadership role, you will oversee facilities, maintenance, vendor and contract management, as well as key property projects. The position requires strong strategic planning, budget management, and oversight of Work Health and Safety compliance to support effective audit delivery and a positive staff and workplace experience. As the EL1 Director, Property Services, you will: Set the property strategy and annual plan, and manage budgets, contracts and supplier performance Oversee building operations, maintenance and life cycle works, ensuring health, safety and regulatory compliance Deliver property projects, including business cases, procurement and delivery assurance Lead mailroom, stationery and car-park services, and maintain clear client-facing information (intranet, ServiceNow) Manage relationships with the landlord, building manager, contractors and internal stakeholders.
