The key duties of the position include APS6 Cyber Security Manager We are seeking an experienced and motivated APS6 Cyber Security Manager to play a critical role in protecting the ANAO's information and technology environment. Partnering closely with the Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) and IT Security Authority (ITSA), you will help strengthen ANAO's cyber resilience and ensure compliance with Australian Government cyber security frameworks. This is an ideal opportunity for a hands-on cyber security professional who thrives on operational challenges and values protecting sensitive government information. As the APS6 Cyber Security Manager, you will: Support the Security Improvement Plan implementation, including managing the authority to operate program of work Support the CISO/ITSA in implementing and maintaining cyber security controls, policies, and standards Conduct vulnerability assessments and coordinate remediation activities with technical teams Maintain and review security monitoring tools, including SIEM and IDS/IPS solutions Support compliance with the PSPF, ISM, and ACSC Essential Eight requirements Liaise with internal and external stakeholders on operational cyber security matters APS6 Protective Security Manager We are seeking an experienced and motivated Protective Security Manager to support the delivery of effective physical and personnel security across the agency. The role is responsible for the coordination and oversight of protective security activities, and for supporting the Agency Security Advisor to meet obligations under the Protective Security Policy Framework (PSPF). This position contributes to a secure operating environment through strong governance, risk management and operational assurance. As the APS6 Protective Security Manager, you will: Manage day-to-day physical and personnel security arrangements, including building access and visitor management. Provide practical security advice, briefings and induction support to staff, contractors and visitors. Oversee access control and physical security systems, working with service providers to maintain effective and reliable controls. Respond to physical security incidents and near misses, coordinating investigations and misses, coordinating investigations and follow actions as required. Monitor and support compliance with PSPF physical and personnel security requirements. Support the Agency Security Advisor in implementing personnel and physical security programs. APS6 IT Operations Manager We are seeking a self-motivated problem-solver to provide IT operations and assurance expertise. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing day to day IT operations and assurance through collaboration with the Managed Services Provider (MSP). The role is wide ranging and provides technical assistance to the ANAO's executive leadership team, delivers project support for larger projects; and supporting contract management and procurement. As the IT Operations Manager, you will: Manage day to day IT operations and assurance under the guidance of the Deputy Chief Information Officer Provide immediate technical support the Auditor-General and Deputy Auditor-General; Manage M365 Governance and evergreen strategies in line with the Digital Transformation Agency (DTA) Blueprint and provide training and awareness to users for new tools and significant updates within the environment; Manage the ANAO's software library, secure file sharing and optimise costs by monitoring and maintaining licence allocations for standard and non-standard applications; APS6 Product Implementation Manager We are seeking a motivated and capable problem-solver to provide project management expertise within the Chief Technology Officer (CTO) team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing small to medium size projects; providing support to larger, complex initiatives, and contributing to the effective implementation of digital products across the ANAO. As the APS6 Product Implementation Manager, you will: Manage product implementation and small to medium-sized digital projects, utilising both waterfall and agile methodologies as appropriate Promote the use and improvement of agile project management practices and Azure DevOps within the CTO team Provide critical support for larger IT and digital projects, assisting the project team as needed Prepare and present project performance reports to executives and project governance committees APS5 Information Security Officer We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented APS5 Information Security Officer to support the ANAO's information security function. This role offers a great opportunity to develop practical experience in information security administration within a complex, high-integrity environment.
