You bring demonstrated experience in teaching within vocational education settings and are confident in delivering high-quality course material, assessing student performance, and supervising students enrolled in accredited programs. You are actively engaged in continuous improvement of teaching practice, contributing to course review, development, and enhancement of delivery methods, including online and blended learning environments. You work collaboratively with internal stakeholders across teaching and administrative teams and engage effectively with external organisations and industry partners to ensure learning remains relevant and industry-aligned. Your professional practice is underpinned by a commitment to maintaining and enhancing your vocational competence, ensuring it meets or exceeds the level of education being delivered and assessed. You demonstrate strong communication skills, a student-centred approach to teaching, and the ability to operate effectively within a dynamic, compliance-driven educational environment. To be successful in this position, you’ll have as a minimum: Effective interpersonal and communication skills relevant to teaching and consultancy environments. This includes effective presentation and facilitation skills, and the use of flexible teaching methods. Demonstrated skills and experience in competency-based assessment. Ability in ensuring current and contemporary vocational competence which meets and/or exceeds the education level being delivered and assessed. Experience in relevant industry, and substantial discipline knowledge as it relates to this position. Capacity to diagnose learning problems in students, propose and implement effective solutions. Ability to contribute effectively as a constructive and proactive member of a team. Demonstrated skills in the use of relevant information and communication technologies.
