Facilities Team The Facilities team is a small team who responds to the daily requests to keep the spaces we work and teach in functioning optimally. We also have a regular cycle of tasks that we complete to keep the space looking fabulous and are well presen ted . This role allows us to support these functions during key periods, such as mid and end semester when we need to service a lot of areas in a short period of time . It also lets us tackle projects that come semi regularly and makes sure we have a facilities presence when existing team members are on leave. About the role The Facilities Assistant r eporting to the Facilities Executive, you will provide on-site facilities support on a casual basis, assisting with general maintenance, event support, and responding to facilities requests across classrooms and shared spaces. Key responsibilities Assist with furniture relocations and set-ups within the building Support basic plant maintenance activities Distribute stationery and office supplies Conduct visual inspections of reported facilities issues Assist with internal events and room set-ups Support the Facilities Officer with tasks impacting multiple classrooms Carry out non-standard cleaning tasks beyond contracted services, including: Whiteboards Spot carpet and furniture steaming Desk and fridge cleaning Monitor and respond to Facilities ServiceNow requests About You You will bring a practical mindset and a strong customer service focus, with the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
