The Role We're looking for a Senior Data Officer to play a critical role in the day-to-day ownership, governance and optimisation of a large fundraising CRM environment. Sitting within a specialist Data & Analytics function, this role goes well beyond data entry. You'll be the go-to expert for data integrity, complex imports and reporting, compliance, and supporting fundraising teams to get the most out of their data. This is an ideal role for someone who enjoys combining hands-on data work with process improvement, stakeholder support and system stewardship. What you'll be responsible for: Own and coordinate day-to-day administration of the fundraising CRM (Blackbaud) Manage complex data imports, exports, reconciliations and regular giving processes Design and execute segmentation, queries and reporting to support fundraising programs Maintain high standards of data integrity, privacy and PCI-DSS compliance Develop and maintain database procedures, protocols and documentation Train and support Foundation staff in CRM usage and best practice Identify opportunities to improve data processes, automation and system performance Partner with Finance, Fundraising, IT and external vendors on data-related initiatives Your Profile You will be an immediately available Senior Data Officer with experience in: Proven experience working in a fundraising CRM environment, ideally Blackbaud Strong technical capability across data queries, manipulation, imports and reporting Solid understanding of data governance, privacy and compliance requirements Advanced Excel skills and confidence working across Microsoft tools Ability to explain data clearly to non-technical stakeholders Experience developing procedures and training others Highly organised, detail-oriented and comfortable juggling competing priorities Experience in the not-for-profit sector, Power BI/Tableau, or broader analytics tooling will be highly regarded.
